Mendocino Farms Celebrates 75th Restaurant in San Jose, Kicks Off Era of Expansion
- Grand opening attendees can order Mendo’s new limited-time menu before it launches nationwide on January 28
- The San Jose location sets the stage for Mendo’s new era of growth, with 15 new restaurant openings slated for 2025
Mendocino Farms, the fast-casual restaurant known for turning sandwiches, salads and more into an unexpected culinary adventure, is celebrating its 75th restaurant opening with the new Westgate Center location in San Jose (1696 Saratoga Ave #94), opening on Monday, Jan. 13.
This San Jose opening kicks off a big year for the brand, with 15 restaurants planned to open in 2025. Along with expansion into new markets, the brand plans to open more than five new restaurants in Northern California over the next two years.

San Joseans can join the Westgate Center grand opening festivities by creating a My Mendo account and selecting “NorCal-Westgate Center” as their favorite location prior to opening day. The reward includes a free entrée with any menu purchase during the first two weeks post-opening.

🥪 Fresh Flavors for Everyone
Mendocino Farms’ culinary team combines fresh, from-the-earth ingredients with creative flair to offer bold and flavorful twists on sandwiches, salads and more.
In addition to the classic fan favorites such as the “Not So Fried” Chicken Sandwich and the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada, the Westgate Center restaurant will feature Mendo’s limited-time menu weeks ahead of its official launch, giving guests an exclusive opportunity to savor the new dishes before anyone else.
The Chicken & Hummus Crunch Wrap, a handheld version of the brand’s popular Hummus Pita Crunch Salad, will debut as the only wrap on Mendo’s menu. The wrap features shaved, roasted chicken breast, hummus, pita chips, Kumato tomatoes, cucumber, jalapeno, pickled red onions, sprouts, romaine, baby spinach, Toom garlic spread and mint labneh on a Mejorado flour tortilla.
Meat eaters and vegetarians alike can enjoy the Baja Green Goddess Salad, Mendocino Farms’ cheffy take on a traditional taco salad. The salad can feature either chicken adobado or Impossible chorizo and is served with roasted corn, hatch chiles, black beans, jicama, avocado, grape tomatoes, red onions, Monterey jack, taco crunch, romaine, arugula, cabbage and cilantro, topped with housemade Baja goddess dressing bringing all the flavors together.
🍴How to “Eat Happy”
Mendocino Farms Westgate Center will be open for dine-in, pick-up or delivery daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can order ahead through the Mendocino Farms website or app, or via UberEats, DoorDash and Postmates. Locals can also “Eat Happy” through flexible catering options for gatherings with families, friends or coworkers, and other celebratory moments.
