Restaurant Company to Open First Location in Solano County in Nut Tree Plaza

 

Mendocino Farms, the fast-casual restaurant known for turning sandwiches, salads and more into an unexpected culinary adventure, is opening its first Vacaville location (1640 E Monte Vista Ave.) in Solano County’s popular Nut Tree Plaza on Tuesday, July 30.

Mendocino Farms’ fanbase (affectionately dubbed “the herd”) clamored for a location in Vacaville, with requests increasing in recent years as guests have either moved into or begun commuting into the city from other trade areas with a strong Mendo presence.

Mendocino Farms’ menu features unique, chef-driven sandwiches, salads and more, all crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients. 

 

Mendocino Farms’ most popular sandwich, the “Not So Fried” Chicken Sandwich, is a lighter take on the craveable fried chicken sandwich. Made with shaved, roasted chicken breast topped with Mendo’s iconic krispies, herb aioli, mustard pickle slaw, tomatoes and pickled red onions on toasted ciabatta, the sandwich is served with a side of tangy mustard barbeque sauce or mustard pickle remoulade.

 

 

 

Offering a refreshing, craveable combination of sweet and spicy flavors, the Sweet Peach & Goat Cheese Salad features shaved, roasted chicken breast, sweet peaches, a drizzle of hot peach honey, marinated goat cheese, honey roasted almonds, pickled red onions, fresh mint, shaved fennel, romaine, kale and mixed greens, and is served with farmhouse vinaigrette.  

 

The menu also includes a slate of deli sides and soups including Spicy Curried Couscous, Chicken Tortilla Soup and Kale & Apple Rainbow Salad

Mendocino Farms Vacaville will be open for dine-in, pick-up or delivery daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can order ahead through the Mendocino Farms website or app, or via UberEats, DoorDash and Postmates.
